1921年にイタリア・ムラーノ島で創業した老舗ヴェネチアングラスブランド。他に類を見ない125色からなるカラーバリエーションを展開し、伝統技術とモダンデザインを融合し、創業以来多くの芸術家や建築家とコラボレーションを成功させてきたことでも知られている。往年にはカルロ・スカルパやエットレ・ソットサス、ジオ・ポンティと、近年では建築家の安藤忠雄やシャネルの店舗建築など手掛けるピーター・マリノなど著名なデザイナーともコラボレーションし、その時代に合う新たなデザインを生み出し続けている。2016年1月よりイタリアのハイジュエリーブランドとして国際的に高い人気を誇る「ダミアーニ」グループの傘下に入り、メイド・イン・イタリーを代表する老舗ラグジュアリーブランドとしてさらなる躍進を続けている。

A long-established brand of Venetian glass founded in Murano, Italy in 1921. Venini is known for developing 125 unique color variations, fusing traditional technology with modern design, and successfully collaborating with many artists and architects since its establishment. Past collaborations include Carlo Scarpa, Ettore Sottsass, and Gio Ponti, and in recent years famous designers such as architect Tadao Ando, or Peter Marino, builder of Chanel stores,thus continuing to create new designs to suit their times. Since January 2016, Venini has become part of the "Damiani" group - an internationally very popular Italian high jewelry brand - continuing its journey as a long-established luxury brand representing ‘Made in Italy’.
